A unique program for young advanced dancers A neoclassical approach to professional dance trainingclassical foundationmultidisciplinary dance education

Announcing the launch of BALLET NEO PROFESSIONALS, designed for mature dancers seeking advanced training. The daily schedule includes classical ballet technique and pointe, historic classical solo ballet variations, and intensive study of contemporary and theater dance disciplines.
In 2020, the pandemic obliterated the performing arts. The challenges facing professionally-minded dance students go beyond rebuilding physical strength and technique. Dance education must address the effects of the isolation and additional restrictions experienced during the years of the pandemic.
The faculty ensures that classes are appropriate while maximizing the training potential. Harkness Center physical therapists offer students an injury prevention lecture at the program's start.
Working with experienced professionals in an investigation of movement quality and performance presence, participants explore approaches to choreography, unleashing a mature and potent performer.
This program will be offered in person only. Students attend an in-person audition or submit a video audition to be considered.
